FEMALE TROUBLE (1974) - Unofficial mini-soundtrack

Time for another non-horror post, but one with a couple of holiday songs. Been wanting to try to compile this for awhile now, and luckily I found all the needed songs. Here's the first-ever soundtrack for the John Waters/Divine classic "Female Trouble". The theme song performed by Divine and the last track, a dialogue/music scene (and my favorite in the film) are DVD rips. All the other oldies were compiled from various sources and were at varying bitrates, but everything has been enhanced and finalized at 320k. To the best of my knowledge, this represents all of the music and songs heard in the film (I went according to the music credits during the end credits of the movie itself). Link is in the comment area...Enjoy!
Tracks:
01 - Female Trouble (Main Titles) - Divine
02 - Jingle Bells - Gene Autry
03 - Merry, Merry, Merry, Merry Xmas - Ruby Wright (with Cliff Lash and his Orchestra and the Dick Noel Singers)
04 - Blue Kat - Chuck Rio & The Originals
05 - Yogi - The Bill Black Combo
06 - Bridal March_Wedding March - The 101 Strings Orchestra
07 - Underwater - The Frogmen
08 - Dig - Nervous Norvus

10 - Female Trouble Christmas (dialogue & music scene)
Total Time: approx. 21 minutes

A MERRY MONSTER CHRISTMAS (1964)

A holiday/horror classic from 1964 (I believe this was originally posted by Dr. Terror last year, so thanks for the LP rip). The original vinyl version, and the download files have corrected tag info (some information was missing and other info was off), and the download has enhanced cover images (seen here...I tried filling in the colors and enhancing the images a bit). Vinyl LP rip at 256k. Link is in the comment area.

UPDATED DOWNLOAD: The original download link (the original rip) is still in the comment area. I've also added a second download link for an enhanced version I did of the tracks. Included were a volume equalization (some tracks had much lower volume than others), further noise reduction, removal of excessive empty space at the beginning and ends of some tracks (some had as much as 5 seconds of emptiness at the beginning and/or ends), a slight boost in the bass level (this old recording was rather flat and tinny-sounding), and the final MP3 files were done at 320k for the best reproduction of the original rip, and with J-Stereo enhancement.

TALES FROM THE CRYPT - Have Yourself A Scary Little Christmas (1995)

This was not a big seller by any means, but it fast became a fave with horror fans. CD rip at 320k. Link is in the comment area.

BEDKNOBS AND BROOMSTICKS (1971) - The Complete Orchestral Score Conducted by Irwin Kostal

Another non-horror post (although it is about a witch!) I've been wanting to do for awhile now, and couldn't find anything like this anywhere else, so here it is: The complete orchestral score conducted by Irwin Kostal from the Angela Lansbury/Disney classic. All of the music heard in the film is represented here, even the songs (but without the lead vocals, and in a couple of instances with no vocals at all). DVD rip at 320k from the surround channels of the restored edition of the film. In two parts due to the filesize and the number of tracks (66 tracks total, about 87 minutes of music), and a larger version of the cover image (front only...no real back cover image except for the screen capture seen here) is included in the second download part. Links are in the comment area soon as I can finish uploading them.

ANIMAL HOUSE (1978) - Elmer Bernstein's complete score, plus expanded songs album

Okay, time for another non-horror post. Here's two soundtracks for the 1978 classic ANIMAL HOUSE:

First is an expanded version of the original soundtrack album of songs (which contained very little....practically next to nothing...of Bernstein's score). I've included two tunes not featured on the original release but heard in the film: "Who's Sorry Now", performed by Connie Francis, and the complete original stereo version of "Theme from A Summer Place", performed by Percy Faith and his Orchestra (this is heard partially in the film). I simply included these two and numbered them in sequence following all the original album tracks. No album cover for this one.

The big one is the complete classic score by Elmer Bernstein, my own rip from the surround channels of the DVD. All of his cues are represented here, however short they may be (some tracks contain minor sound effects, but this is generally quite minimal and not very intrusive to the music...I was actually really pleased with how this turned out!). There's also two exceptions: the song "Shout" minus the lead vocals (since the music was there I decided to include it with this), and Percy Faith's rendition of "A Summer Place" (it is included from the ANIMAL HOUSE surround rip due to its inclusion during the toga party, and from its inclusion during the track "Two Love Scenes", which alternates between the music heard during Otter's seduction of Mrs. Wormer...not sure if that music is Bernstein's or not...and the failed love scene between Pinto and Clorette). I also should note that two of the tracks, "Grocery Shopping/Mine's Bigger Than That" and "Emily Dickinson College" were extremely low on volume and had to be boosted, although I tried to avoid over boosting them which would have resulted in hearing a lot of analog hissing (also not certain if the Emily Dickinson piece is Bernstein's or a previously existing recording).

The expanded songs soundtrack is a CD rip at 320k. The Bernstein score is a DVD rip also at 320k, and the download file for that contains larger versions of the cover images seen here (which can be clicked on to view the track listings). Both links are in the comment area.
